Insurance

In order to protect your confidentiality and ensure that you have control over your treatment, I am an out-of-network provider for insurance. As such, I do not bill insurance companies directly but am happy to provide you with monthly receipts (i.e. super bills) that you may be able to submit for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance to confirm.

Out-of-network Benefits

Contact your insurance company directly to find out if you have out-of-network benefits.

Some important questions to ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health?

  • Do I have a deductible, and if so, what is it?

  • What is my coinsurance/ what percentage of my bill will be covered after my deductible is met?

  • How do I submit a superbill?

Cancelation/No-Shows

Cancellations must be made by phone or email at least 24 hours before your appointment.  Otherwise, the client will be charged the full session fee per my policies provided to you at the intake.

Sliding Scale

I generally have a waitlist for sliding scale openings, so please inquire during your initial consultation. In order to qualify, you will need to provide a proof of income.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
